Klasse
Ich will mir Lösungen ausdenken
(Refrain)

ENGLISH:
I'm a girl in the big city,
where not everyone has the same opportunities,
The tram goes up and down,
Not all good here, I've made something of it.
Yet sometimes I get bullied,
And then I feel like crap
Then I say stop tell that
to Bunana or a companion
Sometimes I feel lonely and lost
When children make fun of me
Yes, I was not born in Germany,
but I grew up in Berlin,
Go to the 5th grade
And there is someone I never let down
My girlfriend's name is Schumana
And I'm Bunana
There's no drama between us
We dream, we dream, we dream of a world
We dream, we dream that we like it (x3)
I'm a boy in the big city,
where not everyone has equal opportunities,
The tram goes up and down,
At the next stop I have to get off, I've been paying attention
In the old days I would have hit back,
But now I'm trying to get along
If I had hit back, I'd be no better than the bully
But now I'm loosening up
Just because I was bullied, doesn't mean I have to bully now myself
Yes, I want to do better, I promised I would.
I won't let myself be ostracised
I want to think of solutions
If I have anger in my stomach, I go to boxing,
I hate kids who bully others
I box my way through life
Without giving anyone a hook
(Refrain)
Violence doesn't solve problems,
But inside I feel emptiness,
That's why I go to dance and recharge my batteries.
There I was taught self-confidence
I live next to the Linden Centre,
Young men pretend to be gangster there,
Look, I'm describing the situation,
They're a pain in the ass on the street,
They say: Get lost, go away, you dog,
I say: Stop, take the swear word out of your mouth.
They want to test me,
but every insult makes children sad,
We try to forget the words,
but they worsen the view
With time I've learned
That I'm not to blame,
When bullies bully, I've done nothing wrong
I am a good child I can be proud of who I am.
(Refrain)

The project “INCLUSION! Actions across boundaries” seeks to raise awareness of young people of the subject inclusion. The current rise of right-wing populism in European politics makes propaganda and misinformation an easy tool to target youth in the social media. In this context, it seems necessary to highlight European values and embrace democratic principles, such as solidarity and tolerance, as well as to discuss what is social exclusion, what are the discriminated groups, and what practical solutions can foster more inclusion in the local European communities to ensure equal rights and opportunities to everyone regardless of nationality, culture, gender, (dis)ability, sexual orientation, age, political and religious beliefs. In this project, young people become agents of change through dialogue with stakeholders, peer learning, planning and the implementation of local projects which contribute to more inclusion in their community.

Young people exchange their personal experiences in two international youth meetings in Berlin, Germany, and Athens, Greece, and are supported in the development of their project ideas which target local issues and challenges. At the end of the project, they present the results of their initiatives to local stakeholders at local vernissage and discuss the findings with the local community. Vernissage would open with an international photo exhibition featuring pictures from eleven countries on the subject inclusion.

In order to foster innovation in youth work, the project team develops a DIGITAL LEARNING PACKAGE for young people and youth workers. This learning package enables youth workers, teachers and young people to improve their media literacy and foster digital competences – critical thinking and digital wellbeing.
Short description

The overall goal of the project was to develop, implement, and test the “Welcomeship” model” – a model of entrepreneurship learning for young people with fewer opportunities, including young migrants and local youth. The “Welcomeship” model was based on non-formal learning methods and collaborative practice. It aimed to strengthen the interaction of locals and newcomers, address the fears and prejudices and foster community spirit as an overarching goal. Local youth and young migrants developed entrepreneurial ideas to address community issues and built partnerships with stakeholders to bring about positive change in the local communities. This collaboration was intended to lead to openness, tolerance, and an atmosphere of togetherness in the community. Ultimately, the “Welcomeship” model aimed at becoming a tool for inclusive communities.

It combined four pillars:
1. Opening Minds & Doors: building trust, overcoming prejudices and fears and fostering the welcome culture in the local community through joint activities, also with local young people.
2. Community-Based Entrepreneurship Learning: strengthening young people’s entrepreneurial skills.
3. Action & Community Partnerships: building partnerships to implement entrepreneurial projects and mobilising local resources.
4. Advocacy for inclusive communities: disseminating the working approach and positive examples at the local, national and EU level through online solutions and face-to-face meetings.

This project was funded by the ERASMUS+ Programme of the European Union. It was implemented by the consortium of nine partners from Belgium, Finland, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Sweden and UK and coordinated by YEPP EUROPE.
